This past week (March 9-13) was my spring break. On Monday I went back down to Southwark and walked up the Thames via the Rose Playhouse, Southwark Cathedral and the Globe.

The Anchor. A pub near the Globe that could be The Mermaid’s Tavern where Shakespeare went with four other playwrights of his day: Christopher Marlowe, Ben Jonson, Thomas Dekker and Thomas Nashe

Then I took a walk along the Thames. I also stopped at a nearby branch of Pret a Manger for lunch.

On the way back to Regent’s University London, I got a couple photos of St Paul’s from the front of a double decker bus.
